Waminco Skirting Rubber is primarily used to reduce spillage and dust over the edges of conveyor systems.

As an economical rubber strip, it also has numerous uses in many facets of industry and agriculture.

By default, skirting rubber is supplied without any chamfers. Where required, an edge can be chamfered to your preferred angle to optimise contact with the conveyor belt.

Waminco can cut larger and custom sizes from our bulk stock, or procure special skirtings from the factory. Softer and Sandwich Skirting are also available.

Waminco Sandwich Skirting Rubber is intended for use in applications where a soft skirt is required for sealing to the belt, without the typical flexibility of a soft skirt.

The soft green core of sandwich skirt is designed for excellent sealing and wear resistance which can be desirable for sealing in fines in environments where minimising dust emissions is crucial. The harder black exterior layers reduce the flexibility of the sandwich skirt compared to a homogeneous skirt of similar hardness.

Sizes

Waminco stocks Black-Green-Black skirt in thicknesses of 12mm, 16mm & 19mm. Typically we cut this to your required width from wide slabs of skirting, so generally any width can be quickly cut to order.
